At Fettes we are delighted to be able to offer the choice of A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB), in the Sixth Form.
Each course lasts for two years with students completing courses when in the Summer Term of the Upper Sixth.
When student are between 16-18 years of age, they enter the Sixth Form at Fettes.
- A Levels allow students to focus and go deeper into fewer subjects.
- IB allows students the opportunity to study a broader range of subjects, keeping their options open for longer.
By offering both A Level and IB pathways, this enables our students to select the pathway which is best for them.
"Fettes College is the only school in Scotland who offer a dual pathway of either A-Level or the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Having this choice was very important to our family." Current Parent
