Girls‘ tennis, though a minor sport in the Fettesian sporting world, has become increasingly popular over the years, due to the fact that we have steadily built up a rather impressive reputation for ourselves. Time spent having a leisurely rally on a pleasant summer afternoon, has been replaced by dedicated training sessions, producing a set of highly enviable results. The training goes on through the winter with Brian Barnet (ex GB player) coaching the girls during the peak and pre season. It is a very popular sport and are able to put out 8 teams regularly for fixtures against other schools. We also enter the Aberdare Cup as well as the Kilgraston Tournament.
