Swimming Gala Results
The 2012 Inter House Swimming gala had everyone on the edge of their seats until the very end. The energy and support from the spectators was truly amazing. Well done to everyone that took part. College West took home the overall trophy, winning at the Senior level and coming second at the Junior level. Arniston took home the Junior trophy and College East came second at the Senior level.
Isobel F was the Junior Individual Champion and the winner of the Best Performance on the Day; Pippa W was the Senior Individual Champion.
Particularly excellent job to Leah G, who broke the Junior Girls Backstroke record with a time of 40.61; Isobel F, who broke the Junior Individual Medley, which has stood since 2003, with a time of 1.24.21; Arniston broke the Junior Girls Medley Relay with a time of 1.16.04 and College West who broke the Senior Girls Freestyle Relay with a time of 2.24.31.
A very positive whole-school girls’ event!
