St Andrew's in Moredun
This morning Moredun celebrated Saint Andrew’s Day in traditional style with the Head of House and Deputy Head of House serving a cup of tea to everyone in the House in their beds while our senior piper (Callum S , who had come across from Craigleith at 6.30am to celebrate with us) played and everyone awoke to the sounds of the pipes – how else can you start St Andrew’s Day!
At such an early hour, this was to some, something of a rude awakening, but it was all taken in great spirit and tea was served to everyone by Balthazar and Geordie. One or two in the Lower Sixth finally heard both the waking bells – certainly it was the earliest Mahmoud has woken since arriving in Moredun! Many thanks to Callum for coming down to celebrate with us and playing so well.
