Prep Orchestra Day
Is this the biggest orchestra in Scotland? On Friday 27th April we welcomed 142 pupils from 6 prep schools to take part in the annual Orchestra Day. Starting at 10.00 they worked hard on 2 pieces for full orchestra – Danse Macabre and Bohemian Rhapsody. After a buffet lunch there were sectionals for an hour before the pupils went off to try out the climbing wall, shooting range, swimming pool and sports pitches. 4pm saw vast quantities of chicken and chips being consumed before final rehearsals and a concert at 6pm.
