P form go back in time

P Form victorian visit (2)

First we met our guide called Laura. She helped us and talked to us about lots of inventions from the past. Then she put us into groups and we got put into circles. She gave us an object covered in cloth. We handed it round our circle and we tried to guess what it was. Then we had to tell and explain what our object was. Then it was lunch time and we went through the museum into a ‘titanic’ green house where we were to have our lunch. We had a yummy scrummy lunch.

P form victorian trip (3)

That was followed by going back on the bus and on to the Victorian School. No-one on the whole bus was not excited (that included Miss Mair and Mr Hawes). When we got there we jumped out of the bus and we found a change to what we knew as school as soon as we poured out the bus. There is an entrance door for boys and one for girls. We went in and put on Victorian uniform – a white pinny for the girls and for the boys it was waistcoats. Off we went and into the classroom in silence. Our teacher was very strict. She made us first recite the whole of the 2, 3 and 4 times tables. We had to do arithmetic, handwriting and maths. She rang the bell and in a flash it was 2011 again.
