Mountain Marathon
Well we finally did it…
The weekend brought foul weather and we really battled with conditions. Saturday brought torrential rain and 50-80mph winds on the summits. The campsite was sodden and by morning it was a quagmire.
Sunday showed a little brighter and by the end we almost had sunshine. We had low-points and high points, but the feeling of finally completing was immense. The whole weekend was a remarkable experience and we feel that we both came away stronger. Maybe next year....?
