Festive Hockey

Festive Hockey 2

As an end of term treat the 3rd, 4th and 5th Hockey XI got into the festive mood by dressing up in all sorts of Christmas costumes to play Hockey. We had puddings, presents, reindeer and of course Santa.

We were split into two teams according to our outfits: Santas and Puddings and the other was reindeer and some strange invented Christmas characters e.g Jennifer G as the Grinch, who went on to win the prize for best costume!

It was a close match with some very intense Hockey with the Santas first to get a goal. But the other team did not give up, there were a LOT of fouls due to the interesting outfits, which were not meant for running in!

The next goal was spectacular, Molly M ran it down the wing and passed it to Holly F who shot it into the goal, both fully dressed in Santa outfits from head to toe. It was Santa-tastic!!

The overall score was 2-1 to the Santa’s and Puddings and they won a delightful box of chocolates provided by Miss Gomm! It was a great way to end the season and thanks must go to Miss Gomm, Mrs Wightman and Miss MacVicar for making it happen.

Merry Christmas

Molly M
