Carol Service
The annual Carol Service is a very special event for the pupils, staff and friends of Fettes College. Not only does it mark the start of the Christmas holidays, but provide us with an opportunity to reflect on the happenings of the Autumn Term and look forward to Christmas and the New Year.
For the first time, the concert took place at the beautiful St Cuthbert’s Church which felt so welcoming and inclusive. The staff at St Cuthberts were incredibly helpful and certainly made us feel welcome and well looked after.
The Service itself was most uplifting; the Chapel Choir were quite superb, as indeed they have been all term, and they led us magnificently. The congregational singing was also excellent, and all of the readers did themselves proud. We thus ended what has been a long, demanding and successful term on a very high note, literally and metaphorically.
