Burns Supper
On Thursday night we held our annual Burns Supper in Area. As is always the case, we were joined by the U6th Kimmerghamians, who came down to House for the evening. Matthew S piped in the haggis before Mr R Harrison gave us his best Scottish accent, whilst saying the Selkirk Grace. Sam W gave a terrifyingly good Address to the Haggis and after we had eaten we heard two terrific speeches from Head of House, Christian S, and one of our new sixth formers, Robbie W.
As is now the tradition, the house mini band (Jamie A, Chris I, Cameron R, Matthew S and Christopher W) serenaded us with a medley of tunes, whilst we enjoyed our Cornetto ice creams. Many thanks to Mr Collister and his hard working team in the Dining Hall for providing such a great meal.
