IT. After assembly, we go to our first lesson which was IT with Mr Sowden. We have a great IT suite with flip-top desks where we hide the laptops! In my lesson we had to create our own music. I won the competition. There was a boy from another school doing a taster day so he joined in too.

Drama. Then we had Drama with Miss Fergusson. We are learning plays by William Shakespeare. She said that Rory and I were the best actors!

Break. At break we get to play football on the new William House astro. This is one of the best times of day! We also get fresh fruit and biscuits from the Gaps to keep us going until lunch - I have got Art next.

Lunch. The meals are great! There is lots to choose from. I always like at least two things on the menu! On every table we have a member of staff, which is really nice as they chat with us and we have good fun.

Geography. Geography is a great lesson. Miss Davies is the best Geography teacher – we are learning about direction.

Shooting. My activity for this term is shooting. All my friends are doing it, so it will be great fun. We go to the brand new Grassie shooting range up at Fettes College.

Games. For games we are playing hockey it is so much fun. We will also get to do rugby, athletics, cricket, cross country and golf so you can have a go at lots and lots. The boys that are boarders also get to have a kickabout before bedtime.

Tomorrow. After a long, busy day, I go back home for some well deserved rest and to dream about the brilliant things I will be doing tomorrow. Our Chaplain takes assembly tomorrow - no one is funnier than Dr Campbell!
