What have the French horn, the church organ, the guitar and the hand bells got in common, apart from being musical instruments of course? They are all instruments that I have tried to learn, with varying degrees of success, since qualifying as a teacher quite a long time ago.
I have also tried my hand at a variety of handicrafts and find that those, and swimming, are a good way to relax after a long day teaching.
Educationally I believe that music should be as inclusive as possible and should be fun, and so have always tried to incorporate these elements into my lessons and extra curricular groups.
