I grew up in the wilds of Zululand, taught English at secondary schools in Durban and Cape Town, then set off on the first leg of my world travels. Because I tend to gravitate to the most beautiful places, I have ended up in Edinburgh, gateway to the Highlands, Islands and Europe.
I am never happier than when I am reading, especially children’s literature.
