Resident Tutor in Iona and P Form Tutor
I have been a P Form teacher and Resident Tutor in Iona House since joining Fettes Prep School in September 2010. I am a graduate of the University of Stirling and completed my teacher training at Magdalene College, Cambridge where I also studied for a MEd in children’s creative writing. I am very happy to be back up North again and am enjoying all that Edinburgh has to offer.
Being a Resident Tutor offers the opportunity for me to form a different kind of relationship with the girls in-house. We have had many fun-filled Saturday nights making face masks, scones, having karaoke competitions and much more. Iona House is really like a home from home where the girls look after each other and form close and lasting friendships and it is lovely to be a part of that.
