Christine Tainsh
Head of Art
I graduated from Aberdeen University, where I studied for my B.Ed degree and Grays School of Art in Aberdeen where I studied for my B.A (Hons.) Fine Art. I received Commendation in the History of Art at Grays.
At Grays I specialised in Drawing and Painting and I continue to fill sketchbooks with ideas in my school holidays and also to pursue my interest in weaving. My career has spanned both teaching and working in the galleries of the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh.
I really enjoy the challenge of helping young children to be creative and inspiring a love of Art and Art History.
