Athletics
Athletics is now a Major sport for both the girls and boys during the summer term.
Specialised athletics training
We have a large number of both senior and junior athletes who take part in some very specialised athletics training which culminates in several matches against single and co educational schools.
Senior Girl’s achievements
The senior girls’ side has been unbeaten for the past four seasons and they have produced some outstanding individual results. Talented individuals are involved in training at Meadowbank and are entered into the various Scottish schools athletic events.
Medal holders
During the past five years we have won the Scottish Schools O17 Relay Championships three times and are current bronze medal holders. We have also had individuals who have won the O17 Scottish Schools Pentathlon Championships and we currently hold this title.
Sports Day
The end of our season is highlighted with a very competitive Sports Day where our talented group of athletes really gets to shine and it is an excellent finale to the season.
