Carrington
Carrington House provides a friendly, family based atmosphere for 61 boys, aged between 13 and 18 years of age.
I live with my wife Andrea and our sons Jack (aged 7) and Joe (aged 5) who will no doubt be future Scottish / Australian rugby representatives!
Make a difference
The ethos of the House is based around the credo ‘Make a Difference’. All boys are encouraged and supported in their pursuit of excellence to make a difference to their lives and the lives of others, across a wide spectrum of academic, sporting, cultural, social and charitable events.
House pride
Carringtonians are justifiably proud of their House and of the high standards that continue to be both set, and met, by every year group.
Pastoral and academic care
A team of dedicated and professional tutors are also on hand to provide the very best pastoral and academic care and support to all boys. Edmund Boulter-Comer is the excellent resident tutor of Carrington and he is joined by Henry McCowan Hill, Christian Boettcher, Geoff Blair, David Dowey, Iain Loudon and my wife Andrea as tutors within the House. Miss Diane Davidson, or Miss D to the boys, has joined us this year as our new resident Matron and she has already proved herself to be indispensable in the running of the House.
