Business Studies

The world of business and management is one in which all our students will be involved sooner or later, many, eventually, at a senior level. Not all Fettes students may continue to take the subject at A Level or for the IB, but most will benefit hugely from at least some exposure to Business and the basic truths of work in the modern world.

Our business studies courses are about how organisations work, their management and the changing external environment in which they operate.

We aim to help you develop a range of specific business concepts, theories and practical skills; as well as improved self-awareness and personal development appropriate for careers in business. You will also gain valuable lifelong learning skills, study skills, personal development, and the enhancement of a range of general transferable intellectual skills.
