GCSE Latin

Examination Board: OCR

GCSE Latin allows both study of the language (50%), and a taste of the finest literature, including extracts of such authors as Catullus, Ovid, Horace, Tacitus and Caesar (50%). At times prose literature may be replaced by the study of Roman civilization depending on the interests of the group. There is no coursework.

 
GCSE Greek

Examination Board: OCR

As with GCSE Latin, GCSE Greek is partly linguistic study (50%) and partly some excellent literature, including Herodotus and Homer (50%). There is no coursework.
