Third Form

In the Third Form we have two sets which are set. The top set works from a traditional course and also does some Greek. The pupils are stretched and have the chance for a small class project on Nero, Republican Rome or Alexander. The course used is So you Really Want to Learn Latin.

The second set covers similar grammatical areas but does no Greek. The course used is the Cambridge Latin Course.

We visit local Roman Forts like Cramond and we also visit the Royal Museums of Scotland.

There is a Classics trip every year to Italy, Greece or elsewhere.
