Scholarships and Bursaries

Fettes College firmly believes that every talented child should be able to receive a Fettes education and all the benefits and opportunities it presents. To ensure that fees are not a barrier, we have a wide range of scholarships available to boys and girls from any background. All scholarships can be supplemented by a means-tested bursary.

Scholarships

Fettes College offers a very wide range of scholarships awarded on merit. There is great kudos attached to being a scholar of the College. Exams and interviews are used to see who we feel would thrive at Fettes College.

The following Scholarships are available at 11, 13 and 16:

Academic Scholarship
All-rounder Scholarship (only at 13+)
Art Scholarship
Music Scholarship
Piping Scholarship
Sports Scholarship

All of our scholarships cover up to 10% of the fees and parents of any successful scholarship winner may apply for further financial support through a bursary.

Bursaries

Means-tested bursaries are available to any scholarship holder and when added to the scholarship can account for up to 95% of the fees.
