1. Why does Fettes need donations?
Donations to the Fettes Foundation increase financial resources and flexibility for Fettes College to offer an education that makes it a truly exceptional place to learn.
2. Why should I give?
There are many elements that contribute to Fettes College’s ability to offer educational excellence to a select student body. Donations to the Fettes Foundation ensure that there are adequate resources to sustain the College’s distinctive margin of excellence. These cannot be guaranteed without philanthropic support for the school.
3. Can I request that my gift be used for a project of my choosing?
Yes. The Foundation will always direct your gift to the area of your choice. In the unlikely event of a gift becoming surplus or unusable, the Foundation will contact you to discuss alternatives.
4. What does the Foundation need now?
There are three areas of priority:
Scholarships and Bursaries – expanding financial support for students is always a funding priority
Fettes North – building new classrooms and facilities are essential for a space to learn and for the quality of teaching
Annual Fund – giving the College flexibility to respond to immediate needs for students and facilities throughout the year
