What Fettes teachers say

“My first impressions of Fettes College are of a happy, supportive and flourishing environment for learning. There exists great mutual respect between pupils and staff and the friendships created extend far beyond the school years. As the Housemaster ‘elect’ for the new Sixth Form House, I hope to foster these strengths and develop them yet further. By the final year of school, the vast majority of pupils really are adults and respond well to being treated as such. A greater independence and responsibility for their daily routines will enable the students to develop fully before they spread their wings and move on to either Universities, GAP years or the working world” Housemaster

“Fettes has always been a happy place to work, with teachers and pupils generally enjoying one another’s company. I have honestly learned something new from every pupil I’ve taught. And if you have to live in a town, Edinburgh is a great place to stay: I’ve been here thirty years!” Modern Languages Teacher
