Basketball at Fettes College is a sport which has a strong following, with our boys team developing a fixture list which sees them play matches against most of our main sporting rivals. Westwoods Sports Hall provides the ideal environment for our young players, who are given direction in developing their skill levels and tactical awareness in this fast and energetic sport, firstly within our PE programme in 3rd Form, and then, if they choose to continue playing, through our team practises and training sessions. In charge of this year‘s team is Mr Peter Wilkins, from Sydney, who is with the school for a year on a teaching exchange, and is an experienced and talented coach.  Basketball is also available as an games option to 5th and 6th Formers, and to the entire college as an activity, with competitive house competitions for boys and girls adding to the fun.
