Extra Curricular Activities
Evening Activities
Pupils are given a wide selection of activities from which they are able to choose. These are not compulsory although each child is encouraged to explore an activity they enjoy or to discover something new.
This term, there are over 20 activities on offer, some of which include glass painting, golf, digital photography, climbing and drama.
Weekend Activities
Activities are arranged for all boarders and can include theatre outings, dorm decorating competitions, camps, horse riding trips, fun swims, excursions to Murrayfield, ceilidhs, discos, and ski Sundays. Recently, Campers have been lucky enough to experience abseiling, gorge-walking and bridge jumping, to name but a few of the fun activities that take place on camp.
Holiday Activities
At The Prep School we also aim to take pupils exploring Scotland and abroad - to learn about our country, different cultures, to practice speaking foreign languages and to have fun! In the past we have taken annual skiing holidays in Italy, visits to Normandy and closer to home a visit to Glen Tanar in Royal Deeside.
