ICT has become one of the core subjects taught at the Prep school.  It is recognised as a key tool in the development of multi skilled learners.  The pupils are encouraged to explore and create without the fear of failure. 

The curriculum branches into four main areas of learning:
Finding things out,
making things happen,
Models, control and simulation
and reviewing modifying and developing ideas.
To enable these areas to be covered, the ICT suite is kitted out with state of the art technology.  This enables pupils to do things such as create their own pop song and video, write and develop their own computer game, create their own animation and star in, write and direct their own short film to name but a few.  ICT does not just happen discreetly and across the school we are pioneering the use of ICT within other subjects.  An example of this is the use of computer generated worlds to inspire creative writing.
