Fettes College Pipes and Drums
There is a strong tradition of piping and drumming at Fettes. Piping has been taught here since 1909 and the Pipe Band first performed in 1912.
Today, piping and drumming is thriving at Fettes. There are some 40 Fettesians learning the pipes and 40 the drums.
The Pipe Band performs at a wide variety of school functions during the year as well as representing the College at outside events and competitions. We have toured in Europe, the Far East and the USA in recent years.
