Learning continues outside the classroom as students are encouraged to speak in English while taking part in the extensive programme of activities and excursions that are organised in the afternoons, evenings and at weekends.

The Cultural Programme offers visits to famous attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, the Wallace Monument (of Braveheart fame!) and to Highland Games.  There are visits to some of the country’s most beautiful scenery including Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.

Students have many chances to learn about Scotland’s rich cultural background through events like our Scottish traditional music and dance evenings.  There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor and indoor sports.  And of course, the weekly discos are always popular!
