Fettes College introduced the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in September 2006 as an alternative to AS/A2 levels in the Upper School. 

The IB Diploma is a prestigious international pre-university qualification and is recognised by universities and governments throughout the world. The Diploma is a two-year ‘package’ rather than a disparate set of subjects and exams. It covers a broad spectrum of subjects and offers unique learning opportunities.

In deciding to study the IB at FettesCollege, students will take a fully integrated and active part in the life of the school. Academic classes are taught by specialist teachers and all sports, activities and house life are undertaken as part of the wider school community.
