Instrumental Teaching

Individual lessons are available to all pupils of the school on all orchestral instruments and piano, organ, guitar, clarsach, percussion and singing. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our team of instrumental teachers, many of whom are well-known and highly respected performers and teachers throughout Scotland. This year the department organises more than 350 instrumental lessons each week, and all the students are given the opportunity to perform when they are ready at informal 'coffee concerts', which are held throughout the year. As well as holding Associated Board and Trinity College examinations twice a  year, the school holds three competitions: Piano, Instrumental and Singing.
