Academic Music

Academic Music is taught by three full-time members of the department. Examination options are offered for GCSE, AS and A2 level. Each of the courses followed comprise core elements of Listening, Composing and Performing. The Department has an enviable track record of excellent examination results.  We have a well- equipped Music Technology Studio, which enables pupils to explore different methods of composition using computers and the most up to date software available.
